A few weeks ago I was watching the Oprah Winfrey show with my sister. The whole program that day was in the same topic of this website - saving money ideas in times of recession. One of the guests in the show came up with a great idea while thinking about saving money ideas to reduce her household expanses.
What she did was very simple: she unplugged all of her electric machines while they were out of use. You see, your television is consuming electricity even if you are not using it and thus you spend more money for no good reason.
The guest’s saving money idea turned out to be very handy and profitable-her electricity bill was reduced in just two months from around 250$ to less then 70$.
Remember - every time your computer is off but still plugged you are wasting your money. All you need to do to change that is unplug it, and any electricity powered machine you are not using. Change your habit now, and save your money for the future!!!
